It was a strange concept, having someone react so positively to a simple agreement. Even though he didn't know this girl's story, Ollie supposed that compared to some, he'd been a little bit spoiled as far as way of life went. Not many people led a merry band of thieves by the time they were eighteen, after all. Not many people had as much security as he had. He had to figure that she was one of the many. Shrugging, he nodded his head and gave her a small smile. "Wouldn't have said it if I didn't."
After all, he may have been a thief, but if there was one thing he wasn't, it was a liar. Unless he had to be, anyway.
Wasn't it Captain Jack Sparrow who had once said 'I'm dishonest, but I'm honest about my dishonesty?' That phrase certainly applied to Ollie.
Arching an eyebrow, because he was quite intrigued by the pragmatic outlook that this girl had. Everyone nowadays was either optimistic (actually optimistic or falsely) or pessimistic; pragmatism was very rare. He appreciated it. "It's true. We're creatures of habit if nothing else. And thank you. The same goes for you. I don't need much right now, but it's good to know that someone else out there has the same outlook."
He offered a hand out to shake hers, giving a lopsided grin. "I'm Oliver. But you can call me Ollie."
