"I sure hope you can deal with warm and fuzzy," Adelaide returned, mock solemn with humor in her eyes. "Cause you haven't seen my winter pajamas yet, but that's them to a T. Then again, if you can deal with the blanket nest you can probably take it. And I don't know what it is, but I kind of think all your tears and smudges are endearing," she added, smiling.
The "I'll believe it when I see it" was answered pretty quickly with Cutter's allusion, and he could see by her face that Adelaide was pleased. With a wicked look, she took her arms down and turned within the circle of his arms, back to him and looking up at him over her shoulder. "Go on," she grinned, "Show me."
