WHO: Ten Point and Kris.
WHAT: Video game geekery OH MY GOD.
WHERE: Grand Central.
WHEN: 12th of November, early afternoon.
RATING: TBD; most likely low.
Ten Point stretched out his limbs before stuffing his rifle back into its trusty scabbard. He'd been perched on a windowsill for the best part of the morning, spending his free Saturday morning doing what by now came to him as naturally as breathing: exploring the world outside through the scope of his gun. He'd found the window by accident - it had been fortified just like all others at the station, but he'd soon managed to fix himself a nice little opening. It was small enough to go unnoticed but still large enough for him to use as little "target practice". Not that he needed it, no: it was just his way of escaping the feeling of claustrophobia that took over him so often these days.
Running his hand through his hair he returned to the sleeping area that was now filled with rolled up sleeping bags, the other survivors scattered all over to do whatever it was they did during the day. Ten Point still had that lone beer in his bag, and today felt like the perfect day to enjoy a little taste of old days... but just as he was walking over to where his things were he spotted something else in the corner of his eye. Something far more interesting than just a bottle of warm beer.
There was a guy. With a laptop, just a few feet from where Ten Point was standing. A laptop.
It only took him a few quick strides to walk up to the guy, and before he even knew it he'd squatted down next to the stranger, a wide grin spreading on his lips. "How the fuck... I mean, what the hell," was all Ten Point could say. "Is that what I think it is?" he finally spat out, eyes widening in excitement.
