Addie wasn't quite sure what it was about that toothpick that made her heart rate pick up just a bit, whether it was the casual edge that it emphasized in him or the attention it drew to his already distracting mouth. Whatever it was, Addie lingered a second more than Cutter would have. It was still brief enough for them both, though, because as delighted as she was to be with him, as much as she'd been impatient for it to be known, she was still a private person at her core. At least without the aid of a few drinks, anyway.
"All sounds logical to me," Addie agreed about the chair. She wasn't sure, from the way he spoke, what he had in mind for them for rooms - whether he was thinking they would be neighbors, or roommates. He said 'we' an awful lot in relation to the bed, which she liked, and more often than not lately they ended up asleep together; but she was also sure he would want his space and she didn't want to assume anything. It was still so new. She figured she'd take her cues from him on what he was thinking, and decide what she wanted from there.
"So, what's first? Put me to work, and don't forget what excellent dowels I make," she said, giving him a sidelong grin as it was one of the things she'd been most proud of in their previous endeavor. It was a little bit comical the way she thought of her outfit as having come ready to work, but if she didn't mind getting dirty then who was to mind? She'd also finally taken off the big engagement ring that had dwelled on her left hand since he'd known her again, and stashed it away somewhere - not for any sentimental reason, but because you never could tell what you were going to have to fake, and when.
