She blinked at him, entirely unsure of what would do then? The rather ridiculously phrased praise or the quarter-literal kiss. She wasn’t going to ask though didn’t matter one of the two amused him that was good enough she didn’t need specifics. “I’m sure they’ll take pity on you down there and let you have the first. Or you know might not even realize that there is hot water and suffer through the whole process of taking an ice cold one instead.” She nodded well what did she know about either. Not a whole lot and she didn’t envy him having to wire every safehouse on his own in the cold and being totally cranky as he did it. “I’m nineteen that’s not terribly young.” Well by comparison to people as old as Evan yeah probably it was but seriously she’d experienced things. She’d had her sweet sixteen party. And turning eighteen had hardly felt particularly important last year. “I’ll keep that in mind in case something catches my interest.”
She made a face. “That sucks. Although I may have to ask someone to tape you when you sleep to see if you actually do it in your sleep. It could that it’s actually true.” Shivering George stood. She bounced a time or two on her toes to get some feeling back in them and then returned her attention to the man and his solar panels. “I’ll let you finish that up then. Wouldn’t want you to get so distracted you fried yourself. Though you are doing marvelously so far.” Pulling her jacket tight around her and hugging herself George started back to the door. She’d probably gotten enough fresh air for the day and if she was really lucky she wouldn’t have caught a cold too.
