Reaching out her hand, Kori took the beer bottle and took a sip. Her face twisting at it’s off taste. Someone needed to start brewing beer in this place, the six year old stuff wasn’t quite cutting it anymore. “I don’t know how you think that tastes okay.”She muttered coughing, oh god she hated sour things. She handed the bottle back and nodded.
“It’s great news. It’s the fact that I need to figure out a way to keep Leah here when that team leaves that bothers me.” Her tone turning from happy to less excited. She was just getting on better terms with her sister, and she was tasked to mislead her while her boyfriend and their brother and possibly Mike went and god knew only who else would have a place on the team.
“I thought you might say that.” She smiled. There weren’t that many people she personally trusted to get this done. She could count them all on one hand and one of them was related to her, and the other might be one day. And then there was Mike who she pretty much fit perfectly with. Three people, that was a sad number, but she knew they all meant well with their reasoning’s for pursuing this. “You want to let Evan know or should I?”
