WHO: Rory and Cutter WHAT: Freaking about feelings gets better when you share that. Right? WHEN: Evening, May 14 WHERE: Sing Sing, outside RATING: Low-Medium STATUS: In progress
Cutter had left the small cell that had become their first home here at Sing Sing. It wasn't exactly the best place to be after their talk and especially after Rodeo's return. Addie was ignoring her brother, Rodeo was ignoring them and Cutter sat in the middle, confused as usual. All he could do was hope they would work things out because he wasn't ready to lose his best friend. Or his... girlfriend. This was his second relationship and te second time he more or less stumbled into it. Time to think about it and freak out. Just a little.
When he had returned from his short trip to the showers, food wasn't all that interesting anyway, he had heard them talk inside the cell and slowly backed off. The sooner they got this resolved the better, so he would just have to find something to do.
Now he was sitting outside, back leaning against the wall of a building. He ad run into a guy he vaguely remembered from the library, he had given him a sixpack for something he apparently had done for the guy. Not bothering with names and faces had obviously been a mistake, but he had a sixpack, which was all that counted right now. He also found his remaining stash of cigarettes in the pocket of his jeans, which made the waiting even more tolerable. After a while he heard someone walk by and looked up, just because he was tired of staring at the tips of his boots. Cutter remembered her alright, after all she had treated his hand. Normally he wouldn't have reacted at all, but talking to her for a few moments equaled a few moments he didn't think about everything. And she did look just like he felt. Not too good. "Hey Doc. Looks like you could use one of them, too." he grumbled around the cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Cutter held up one of the cans, offering it to her. Why not. He never wanted another relationship, why not throw all principles over board and become a social butterfly, too.
