By 8pm, the quad was decorated with lanterns and beautiful colored lights that floated magically in the air. A DJ sits under the tree blasting music; he is taking requests, and seems to have a variety of every type of music from every country imaginable.

Picnic tables are spread out across the quad, and there is a refreshment gazebo built just for this occasion on the side of the quad closer to the student dormitories. There are all sorts of pastries, candies, cheeses, and deserts. There is also a large fountain of punch.

In the middle of the quad, there is a platform where students are busy dancing the night away.
