"Andiamo" Tory lapsed into his native Italian for a moment before correcting himself. "Let us go!" He tugged on James' sleeve briefly, before letting go. He was out the door and ushering James through it as quickly as possible. He was filled with a purpose and energy. It was nothing like the calmness that had settled on his for a long time.
If anything, his recent life could be said to be lethargic, even if he not despondent. He was existing, not living. Now though, he felt like he was alive. He felt a laugh percolating through his system, and for once he did not have to suppress it or worry what other people might think of him if he let it out.
So laugh he did, although it was more of a delighted chuckle in response to the rising enthusiasm of his young companion. "Yes, we go in search of many things. A tree first and foremost of them." Where exactly they would get one was a puzzle to Tory. He was always fond of puzzles.
Perhaps he would accost a pedestrian, or a driver. Normally the thought would of mortified him, but when framed in the concept of a quest, it merely became part of the game. Perhaps he was having too much fun. He reached the express lift and waited for it to open, just about bouncing on the balls of his feet. He instead channeled his excessive energy into tapping out a four four rhythm and humming a carol along with it. 'Good King Wenceslas', was the first that sprang to mind.
