James peered around the room. It was bare but he didn't even notice the dust. It was clean compared to most of what he'd known. With nothing to put down, he just stood near the doorway and looked around. "W-wow." His head tilted up and back to stare at the ceiling. "It's b-big in here."
The teen took a few more steps into the room as Tory placed his things back where they belonged. "I g-get my o-own room?" That he hadn't expected. Despite getting one almost every time he went to other people's houses, he was always surprised. He'd never had a bedroom before Idris. And it had never occurred to him how strange that was.
The laugh earned a shy smile from James. "A q-quest!" It wasn't exactly a shout or a call, but it was louder than his normal voice. And he was still smiling as he bounced on his toes. "To g-get lots of th-things." He wasn't totally sure what they were getting; he did remember trees, though. "L-like a t-tree!"
