"H-hong K-kong?" James wasn't at his best, thinking-wise, at that moment. But he remembered something of his geography lessons but more of what Arion had told him. "Th-that's in Ch-china. You l-live there?" He tilted his head slightly towards Tory as he did his best to straighten up and follow the other. He walked the way most people did right before they took off running, feet beneath him never quite in the same place and his toes lingering on the ground.
He had been about to agree to getting food in the town when the offer to come with was voiced. "C-come with y-you?" James paused, taking a breath, wondering if he could even do that. And then his voice was soft with the next question, almost a whisper. "Wh-who do you l-live with?" That was what mattered right then.
Though he didn't think about the holidays, he didn't want to be alone. And he didn't want to sleep under his bed. Everything still smelled a little off and he felt off, returning to that space so quickly.
