Presents, wrapped in plain black paper, were left at each of the following recipient’s door. No cards or notes were left. The name of the recipient is scribbled in silver ink on each package, with a distinctive stamp identifying the sender in the same silver.

A pendant: the gold charm is suspended by a simple cord of leather.
A handwritten note instructs: Touch the pendant to a person’s open palm; after that, the pendant will grow warm whenever that person is sad, worried or in danger. The guy that sold this said each person ‘feels’ different. I don’t get it, but maybe you will. The birthday gifts you gave me are much better, but I hope you like this as well.
