She raised an eyebrow at Jae and his collar popping, as if existing was a major accomplishment these days. He really was something else, amusing in a strange way. Still, Misae had little interest in dwelling on introductions. She didn't like talking about herself and it had never crossed her mind that other people might enjoy doing these sort of things. She was awkward enough in conversations about things she didn't mind discussing.
She couldn't help a tiny smirk appearing on her face when Jae joked about Professor Rowan. The woman really was horrible, she deserved all the cruel jokes student's whispered behind her back, written on bathroom stall walls, or loudly announced in the library. Honestly she was surprised none of the Rakiah warlocks had managed a spell to turn the woman green and warty by now. Then again, they were Rakiahs and one couldn't really expect them to pull off that kind of spellwork. She was half tempted to write the necessary spell and ingredients down and leave it in the Rakiah common room, but figured after her mishap it might be best that sort of thing didn't get out. She didn't want to see half the student body ending up green and wart-covered.
She crinkled up her nose when Jae picked up his economics book, Professor Miles wasn't exactly her favorite either. His classes were incredibly boring, she didn't really care much about world economics. Or any economics for that matter. Financial matters didn't really interest her, they only reminded her of financial disparity between herself and some of her classmates. Misae tried to offer a sympathetic smile to Jae though. "I can imagine, I've got him for Geography. He still manages to relate everything back to economic structures and supply and demand," she sighed.
At the mention of her title at the ball, Misae looked back down at her books, blushing a tiny bit. "Jaidev and I, yeah." She had won competitions before, but winning a title voted on by the student body was something new. It was flattering, but she didn't quite know how to deal with it. And so she had taken to ignoring it entirely.
