“Uhh...” He stared at her a little longer, his head tilted off to the side ever-so-slightly, before what she said finally clicked in his head and his expression brightened with realization, the proverbial lightbulb over his head pinging at approximately the same moment. “Oh yeeeah, we are, aren't we??”
Seeming pleased with this situation, he pushed his sunglasses back up his nose and leaned forward a little, folding his arms over his book as he did – and clearly without any intention whatsoever of moving them anytime soon. “So! What brings YOU to the library today, Mi...”
He winced a little. Oh god, what was her NAME? It was on the tip of his tongue...!!
“... Mi... sa...e~? Misae?” That sounded like it was right, but he wasn't sure. “It's Misae, right?” Again, he couldn't help it. He was just so popular that keeping names straight just wasn't possible for him. That, and, well, he had a short-term memory... but he liked the excuse of being popular a lot better.
