She ignored his comment about her not being able to read it. Obviously, she wouldn't be able to read it, but did that mean that she couldn't look at it? Written Hebrew was interesting – pretty, even – despite the fact that it all looked like boxed scribbling to her.
"Is it true that there aren't any written vowels in Hebrew?" She asked, flipping open to the first page and squinting down at the text. "Maybe I'm making that up though... because I can't remember where I heard it."
