"It's still not good for you," Devon protested, her bottom lip pushing out into a pout. Facts or no facts, Devon didn't like to be proven wrong – and she was apt to ignore things that she didn't like.
She winked in Yitzhak's direction. "Lucky for you, I came by to make a daring rescue."
With that said, she flopped down to the ground, taking a seat next to Yitzhak. "What're you reading, anyway?" She asked curiously, already reaching out to snag the book before she'd finished speaking. Hey, it was his fault for leaving it on the ground, where anyone (i.e. Devon) could try and steal it.
