Leaning his elbows on the table, Jae watched with great expectation as Dev bit off a chunk of her sandwich, in the meantime making sure to chew and swallow the stolen chip in his mouth so that he'd be ready to respond. Being one of his best friends, Dev had surely seen him do worse things than eat with his mouth open, but hey, if she was going to spare him, the least he could do was spare her too!

"Naw," was his somewhat affronted response at her accusation, and, leaning back in his seat, Jae folded his arms over his chest and held his chin up. "Everyone wants to play with me! It's just, y'know... it's just that everyone's fallen off the face of the planet. Or studyin', or doin' boring things like that. Y'know?"

He then leaned forward again, his eyes wide. "So let's you and me go do somethin'! Anything, seriously. I need excitement --" He slammed the table with his hand for emphasis. "-- like burning!! I'll even help you with your food if it'll get us outta here soon!!" Which was more like his way of saying he was more than willing to mooch some more. It was just too much effort to get his own.
