As Elias pulled the door open, he sighed with relief. "Nate!" he said merrily, somewhat awkwardly giving Nate a one-armed hug. If he had known it would just be Nate, he wouldn't have rushed through the redressing. "Come on in," he said, moving out of the way.
Elias shut the door behind them and followed Nate into the room, not going too far past the first bed. "That box has cookies," he said softly, watching Nate get settled before he went back into the bathroom. He pulled of his shirt again and did a more careful job of redressing his shoulder. "So how have you been?" he yelled to his friend, sticking his head out out the bathroom door when an answer didn't immediately come.
