I never noticed that I hadn't posted this tutorial here...
I made first at severalplums' texture challenge and this is my tutorial for it. I think I made this originally in PS CS3 (using PS7 to compare with my notes and make the pictures used in this tutorial) using primarily filters.

Well, I once again won at severalplums @ LJ and this is my tutorial for the winning icon. It was actually due last weekend and was posted there at the time... I just didn't have enough time to post it elsewhere until today.

I won Mod's Invitation severalplums@LJ and as per community rules, wrote a tutorial for my winning icon. I'm using Photoshop 7 and for this specific icon I used the adjustment layers Color Balance, Curves and Brightness/Contrast as well as the filter "Find Edges".
