Horror Movies R Us
And it was done. The furniture had been re-arranged to accommodate an optimal number of viewers, there were pillows and blankets everywhere the cold candy had been laid out, lists for preferred types of pizza had been set up for when the pizza was actually ordered, and a big stack of DVD’s was set up near the TV. As Bobby had promised, they’d start off with easier-to-watch horror movies. Which in Bobby’s opinion constituted things like the Blair Witch Project (the least scary horror movie ever made), the original Night of the Living Dead, along with a few ‘psuedo-horror’ movies (the “Scary Movie” series was included in it). And then later at night after the very young students went to bed, there’d be classics like The Ring, Dawn of the Dead (the remake), and a few other things.
Bobby had thought about managing the trick-or-treaters (telepathy was wonderful for keeping track of wayward youngsters) but he learned a long time ago that interesting events tended to kick up a lot of excited thoughts – and those tended to give him a headache after a while no matter how well Bobby shielded himself against it.
Already a few students had trickled in, perusing the junkfood and claiming the premier viewing spots in front of the TV. It was going to be a good night.
