Teddy had always thought he wasn't good enough to be Billy's friend and go to his house, but he would take anything he could get if Billy was too blind to see it. "Well, maybe not transform in front of them. But I can transform somewhere else and show them my forms." It was a combination of wanting to show off his powers and the want to impress Billy's parents. "But thanks. And who are you kidding? I'm your only friend," Teddy said, the joking tone slipping back into his voice as he unconsciously shifted his legs away from Billy. It made him feel strange and he wasn't sure if it was all that bad of a feeling.
"Okay, then I'm still coming, if only to show them that I'm great on my own merit," he stated, sitting up so that he could push Billy off his bed. "I'm ready as soon as you start moving, lazy ass."
