"Yeah," Billy said with a chuckle. He took a few fries with his hand, popping them into his mouth. Munching quickly so he could answer the questions. "Well, if I'm not wearing clothes that have a lot of give, I end up ripping them apart. Plus, I get a lot heavier. I fell through a bathroom floor once when my powers were first starting to come out." Wow, Billy wondered whatever happened to that casual friend and his family? He hoped that their ceiling and sink had been replaced. He shrugged his shoulders "Just practice and not being scared of it. Once I knew what it was, Xavier helped me learn how to keep it under control, and then I practiced on making the transformation happen when I wanted it to. It didn't happen over night, but took a lot of work. Wouldn't trade it for the world, though."
He paused for a moment, taking another bite of his burger and swallowing before he asked. "Mind telling me what it is you do? You don't have to, I understand how it feels, but if you wanted to, it'd be cool." No pressure from Billy, that was for sure.
