Who: Bobby and Ali NPCs: None that I know of. When: Sunday, October 4th 3:30pm Where: HELL! Okay, fine, the math classroom What: Tutoring session Rating: PG
It had been a fairly lazy Sunday afternoon at Salem Academy. She had been at the school for just over a month now and frankly, Alison was...underwhelmed. Not that it was a bad school, it wasn't, the classes were great and small for the most part, people had cool powers and interesting backstories. Certainly no one here was boring and she liked that a lot. Really the only person she didn't actively like at the school was Theresa and that was fine because she didn't think Theresa liked her...or anyone, really. So she was in good company. Still, she'd really been expecting something a little more...Heroes-esque. Like, creepy underground lairs and science experiments and government intrigue, but this really was just like any other private school she'd ever gone to. Just with more varied gym classes.
Another thing that hadn't changed with her location was Alison's complete idiocy when it came to all things numbers. Once again, math class was kicking her ass and Miss Blaire was not a happy bunny about that. True, she would probably do better if she studied harder (her dad always said she had such potential, if only she'd actually tap it), but there were so many other things to do that didn't involve doing math problems until her eyes crossed. So, in an attempt to compromise, she decided to get some tutoring. That way she wouldn't have to waste too much time trying to grapple with things she didn't understand and also could make a valiant effort to keep her grades up.
It also didn't hurt that the math teacher was a complete cutie. Most of the teachers were (even the female teachers and that was saying something since Ali didn't actually swing that way), but Bobby Drake was just adorable and she didn't want to completely suck at his class. Perhaps that was the incentive that led her to make sure that she was right on time for her tutoring session, beating even her teacher to the classroom.
