Today had been a long, hard day. Not just for the new arrivals, but also for Harry, the resident Auror, and the only therapist on duty. True, she hadn't actually talked to anyone today, save for breaking up that one fight, and getting clocked in the process. When she'd seen the medi-witch, she'd told her that she was lucky that the force hadn't broken her cheekbone. But Kelly had just said Prewett was taking care of it, and had waited silently as the older woman had fixed up the bruise on her face.
Following that, she'd done a bit more paperwork, then had looked aside at her clock. It was getting late, and she had yet to go back down and check on the young werewolf. She'd hoped that he'd gone to see the medi-witch like she'd asked, but doubted that he would listen, especially since she'd told him to do it. She was going to have her hands full with this group and knew it. But there was no time like the present, and her papers were put away into her desk, before she slid to her feet and headed out of her office and down the secluded stairwell, pausing when she got to the middle, which would lead her out onto the second floor. Kelly took a moment to remind herself of the young man's room number. He was just past Nicodemus Dax, Arcturus Prewett, and Percy Weasley. She drew in a slow breath, then went out, allowing the door to click closed behind her, once again cutting off the stairs from view.
The knock that came on Zacharias' door wasn't loud and forceful, but more of a firm tapping as her knuckles rapped across it. It wasn't locked, it couldn't lock, unless it was under curfew hours (or by Prewett's hand), and they weren't quite there yet, nor did she imagine the Auror had locked the blonde in his room. So once she'd knocked, she was taking a step back to wait.
