Who: Harry Potter and Sirius Prewett and Morag MacDougal When: October 27. Day 1. 6:00 pm. Where: The front lawn of The Sanctuary. What: Harry makes a break for it! Rating: PG13 for language.. Status: Incomplete.
Harry had packed up and made his way quickly out the front door, then quickly down the steps and out onto the perfectly manicured lawn, past the symmetrical trees and to the while picket fence. But when Harry tried to open the gate that he'd come through just five days ago, he'd find that it wasn't as easy to step through. Five days ago, Prewett had opened that gate and Harry had stepped through as if it were any other gate -- but today, he was trying to step through and would find that it was almost like walking into a brick wall. Almost. It had a little bit of give so he didn't slam into it, but he also wasn't able to get past it. It would hold him there, inside, within three hundred feet of the building.
And only once Harry figured out that he couldn't leave, would the boy wonder turn around to find the Auror standing on the perfectly laid cobblestone path leading up to the stairs into the Sanctuary, primly dressed in his charcol robes, just watching as Harry tried to make his way out. But he knew he wouldn't be able to, he knew that he was stuck here, like all the other patients. And Prewett was only watching him quietly, partially gloved hands hanging limply at his sides. Waiting for what he knew would come -- Harry certainly wouldn't be happy.
