It had been about a week since their release from the Retreat, and Percy had settled in with some comfort and routine to time spent at Draco's house. Which was world's better than the Retreat, and his own flat as well, although it wasn't really the spaciousness, or the convenience of House Elf prepared meals and the rest that made it all the better. No, it was Draco's presence.
Which was currently lacking. It was late in the evening, but Draco had gone off to his parents for dinner. Percy, of course, had not. He had eaten, and spent the evening reading, engrossed in a book. As the hour grew later, he changed into blue and white striped pajamas and a dressing gown, and had taken the newspaper down to the kitchen. Which was much more comfortable for sitting when it was just him. He had brewed a pot of tea and now sat at the island counter on a tall chair, working on the cross-word puzzle and sipping at his tea. He had the urge not to turn in for the night until Draco returned.
