Re: More next time!
Harry had made it about halfway down the hall before he heard that voice, and not only was it the familiar voice of his former girlfriend, but she was shouting. And he didn't even have to turn around to picture that hand on her hip, cocked to the side some, staring at him as if he'd been doing something wrong for his entire life. So he stopped, stopped and pictured her staring at him like that, her eyes angry, and he didn't want to turn around. He didn't want to look back at her but after a few seconds he slowly turned, face shadowed by that hood as green eyes fell onto her, posed just as he had pictured her in his mind.
Seeing Ginny brought on a flow of several different emotions. He had missed her, he'd missed her a lot and a part of him wanted to move forward and pull her into a hug but unfortunately, that was a very, very small part of him. The rest of him saw his ex-girlfriend and remembered the way they had ended things and he wanted to turn around and run. Instead of only doing that, though, he reached up with a hand and pulled his hood off of his head, mouth opening a moment but no words came off as the hood came down and rested on his neck, revealing his much shorter hair (it was only about an inch and a half long), he wasn't wearing glasses, and his scar was hidden with a charm. He was barely recognizable, unless you knew him.. but Ginny would see her Harry there. Somewhere.
Not for long, though, because another second later he was turning around and without a word, heading back down the hall, to continue making his escape.
