Who: Percy Weasley and Draco Malfoy. When: Day 6. November 1st. Afternoon. Where: Library. What: Conversation over books? Rating: G. Status: Incomplete.
Percy had spent the rest of Halloween evening in his room. The party had no appealed, and after being rebuked when he tried to do a good deed, he had had no desire to see people again.
He had made himself some tea and toast for breakfast that morning, taking it to his room to have while he read a book he had been working on for the last two days. He continued reading well after his teacup was empty and his plate was nothing but crumbs, until the fact of having dirty dishes in his room made his skin crawl. And then he had brought them back to the kitchen, and continued on reading, intersperced with some cleaning of his room whenever he saw something that was out of order.
He had eaten lunch in the Dining Room, although he had sat by himself, picking his food apart and eating the bits that were salvagable. It was disappointing fare, because so much of the food was contaminated with other foods that it couldn't be eaten! When lunch was done, he went back to his room and his book. And might have stayed there all day, except he finished the book. And had finished the other books in his room.
And so Percy gathered up those that had come from the library and left the room, heading to just that place. He left the books on one of the recieving carts, and then started to brows the aisles of books.
