Who: Emory Harper and Theodore Nott. When: Day Four. October 30. Evening, not long before curfew. Where: Theodore's Room. What: Emory goes to deliver a drawing and gets locked in Theodore's room when curfew comes. Rating: PG13 for language? Status: Incomplete.
Most of the day had been spent finishing up the drawing of Theodore, and working on some sketches. He had several sketches of the other boy, in a more comic book style, because those were easier to draw, quicker, and he could do different things with them. One was of the way he had met Theodore, Theodore spread out on the stairs with curly legs and a book. Another had him as a vampire, because Theodore was so gaunt and pale that he looked like one.
And another, another was taking from Theodore's own idea - Theodore as an Inferi. He liked how it turned out. It was positively creepy. And he thought the other boy might like it. So he went to give it to him.
It was late in the evening, but Emory wasn't really paying attention to time - or else he might not have left his room. He trudged sleepily down the hall in ratty trousers and a sleeveless black shirt and the paper carefully held in hand.
Outside of Theodore's door, he considered it, rubbed fingertips over the wood grain, and then knock. "Theodore! I have something for you!"
