If Lucy knew that Caspian was thinking of her in the way she had always thought of him she would have been ecstatic. She had long had feelings for him but knew he had overlooked her because she was younger and he had been attracted to Susan -- something that had been obvious. Even when she returned to Narnia when they were out at sea she had wanted him to see her in the same light.
"This is all so very strange. This isn't like Narnia or England at all. I haven't seen or felt Aslan around, but I don't know of anyone else that could do something like this. Do you?"
