Adith had hoped that the invitation would be enough to clear his name but when the man spoke again, angrier than before he realised he had no way to show he was whom he said he was. He had no articles of note upon his person, and there was no-one inside whom could vouch for him - not that he had yet seen.
"But I am the real Adith James Lloyd, and I received that invitation in my personal letters." He said, knowing he should be offended that he wasn't believed but Adith had spent so much time not being believed that it came now as second nature to him not to make too much of a fuss, even when he was in the right.
