Aurora listened attentively, a dreamy look on her face as his words. For all her nomadic ways and itinerant childhood, she had spent preciously little of her time on first-rate worlds like the ones he so evocatively described. She sighed again, softer this time but no less filled with ill-concealed longing. "Sihon... now there's a spot I'd love to see."
Her dissatisfied expression was quickly replaced with her characteristic sunny one as Eli successfully applied his charms. "Don't know how you could fail at being interesting and amusing," she commented cheerfully, as if he honestly needed to be reassured, "Just think of the stories you can tell from your travels."
She stopped as abruptly as she had started, tugging on his arm to make him pause. Tilting her head to look at Eli, she pointed upwards at the sign that they now stood under with an air of excitement. It depicted a massive red dragon, its tail coiled around a golden egg. "Here we are, best drinks in the ‘verse. Just you wait."
Struggling for a moment with the heavy, ornately carved door, she finally managed to yank it open, gesturing grandly for him to go inside. “Heroes first.”
