She walked back to the table, quickly collecting the cards and neatly sorting them back into a pack. "And you saved the captain from having to find another mechanic," she called behind her back before moving to join him again. "Not that I'm easily replaceable." In Aurora's modest opinion, there wasn't a woman or man on Persephone who could rival her in mechanical know-how.
"Aurora Kaye at your service," she said with a jaunty tip of her head. Her fingers moved expertly up the cuffs of her jacket, freeing the trio of cards nestled there. Shuffling them back into the deck, she bestowed a conspiratorial smile on Eli. "Now then, let's go see about celebrating our respective victories."
