Jason moved closer when he heard her mumbling, though he couldn't make out the words. The muffled scream made him grin though.
Leaning against the side of the shelter, close enough that she might sense him nearby, Jason watched her curiously. He wondered if she knew what they were doing at the mall.
Maybe she did. Maybe he could find out through her, and not have to wait outside all night and try to guess.
With an invisible grin on his invisible lips, Jason spoke softly. "Does anyone know where you've gone?"
Pushing away from the wall he'd so recently leaned against, he moved closer to Olena. He wasn't sure what he intended, really. To make her talk, maybe. He definitely wanted her to go back to the others though, and tell them about the missing horse, so he reasoned that killing her wouldn't be a good plan.
