She wanted to say that she knew having a horse inside the city was a stupid idea, but she refrained. The whole argument of Peter was between her and Ashley only. Period. She didn’t have to explain herself to some man she didn’t even know.
“This is yours?” Olena questioned, her hand motioning to the area and the rubble all around them. “Keep it! We were just passing through before you stopped us.”
As he moved closer, she instinctively threw out her hands, the rubble at his feet instantly exploding. She wasn’t so much trying to start something as she was trying to warn him to stay where he was.
She glanced over at Ashley again, keeping her hands out just incase. "Grab our things and find Peter," she demanded. "I'll be right behind you." She needed to know that Ashley was at least safe before she ran off, too.
