His eyes slipped in and out of focus as he watched the trio. The horse, left behind, was whuffling at the ground but not really doing much besides standing there. Maybe he was looking for a path? Jason slipped his focus to peer behind the concrete and the rubble, seeking the girls.
So they were scared of him. As they had every reason to be. He was terrifying, really. He scoffed to his thoughts, moving over toward where he'd started out ... but his pants were a mess. Wondering if they were watching, if they could see, he lifted the pants out of the pile, shaking the worst of the dust off ... watching them.
Ashley thought about calling to Peter, but if whatever-it-was didn't know she was here, she wasn't about to draw attention to herself. Edging forward, she tried to peek around the building toward the general area ... but she didn't see anything.
"Well, what did it look like?" she replied to Olena, easing back completely behind the wall and glancing over to the other girl.
