"That makes two of us." Marco responded. In all honesty, he had considered grabbing for his gun, but he trusted himself more with his gifts than he did with a gun.
He continued to walk forward, albeit slowly. "I'm not going to shoot you. Unless you shoot me." He told the voice. He wasn't sure he had any reason to feel threatened at this point, but better safe than sorry.
After a couple more steps, he gently placed the lantern on the floor. He put his hands up so she could see he wasn't armed. It was also more helpful for him to shove the wind in that direction, just in case this was a trick. Why it would be a trick, he wasn't sure.
