Marco had taken the Grasshopper out earlier in the day. Aiden needed his space, and frankly, Marco just wanted to get out of the museum. Sure, he was setting himself up for potentially frightening and disappointing situations, but if he didn't get out there, he'd be spending the rest of his life in the same damn building. He'd already begun talking to himself, he didn't want to find out what came after that...
Landing his plane in an abandoned high school's football field. With his bag of supplies on his back and a lantern in his hand, Marco took the time to explore the building and those surrounding. By the time he went back out to the Grasshopper, it was dark.
"...I've never flown in the dark before." Marco reminded himself. "I guess it can wait until daylight. Pending death."
So, he wandered for just a bit longer through the dark, expecting to find... well, nothing. So the sound of heavy walking startled Marco. Waving his lantern around in front of him, Marco prepared for the attack that he was sure was coming. What the hell would wander around in the dark without intentions of attacking? Other than him?
