Sooo, hey guys! It's Sarah 2 and I'm not dead! Sorry I've been a bit MIA, things have been insane and I hadn't spent more than 2 nights in my own bed in weeks between my grandmother's 80th and my mother in law breaking her ankle and having to help her with that and school meetings...blah. BUT! I am back and ready to rock and hoping to jump back in with both feet!

Hey everyone Rachael here with my second character Cho Chang.
Her info is Here she's mostly the same as before. Before her business started to go slightly bad she had been thinking about going back and playing quidditch. She does miss playing the sport so any Quidditch players who want to talk her into it...

Just a quick note to apologize for my absence the past couple of days! And for not getting back to comments in a timely manner D: Work has been the death of me because of a project our department's working on for a client. It was supposed to be a month-long, but it stretched itself to two months now and will probably reach September. It's slightly mellowed out as it nears completion with things falling together nicely, so I'm around more often now compared to the previous weeks.
If anyone would like to thread (or anything) with Tracey, I'd be more than happy to do so!

FYI regarding the Quibbler (and I checked with Atticus on this and it's totally cool on the modly front):
In the Potter books, the Quibbler is published monthly. But for the sake of the game, let's just say that it's being published weekly on Mondays now.

I'm actually currently in a different time zone-I'm CST until August 11 as I'm visiting family in Chicagoland area of IL. Ugh! Hey everyone! My apologies for being annoyingly absent. I have just had the fortnight from hell, where nothing major went wrong but instead there was just an avalanche of little minor things going wrong that meant my head was just not in a good place for serious plot gaming. Honestly I would have preferred one big thing going wrong than a couple of dozen little things. *headdesk*
Anyway, I'm back and so is my head (mostly!) so if there is anything Blaise or Oliver need to know about, let me know. If you want Blaise or Oliver for anything, let me know. I think we can just assume that Oliver has been busy Quidditching lately and Blaise, well, he was in the Ministry for an international portkey so he was perhaps in France, adding to his wardrobe and buying more designer undies. :D

Hi guys! I told Atticus I'd help with the challenge threads, so please reply here if you want your character(s) to be involved!
How it will work is I will randomly* pair characters that have volunteered together, and then it's up to you guys to get a thread up and running--preferably by the next activity check for extra challenge. If you'd like a "theme" (probably just a challenge word, or a place, something like that) make sure to mention that too, and I'll take that into account.
*The only tweaking I'll do is try to pair characters who haven't threaded together and/or I think would be fun to see interact, and if you've asked for a theme I'll try to pair you with someone else who requested a theme.
So, REPLY HERE BY 10PM EST ON 7/30 (WEDS.) if you want to play. You can do one comment for all characters, or separate comments...I don't really care. I'll post the pairings on Thursday.

I thought I'd get a thread going to discuss some of the clues that have been dropped.
So other than the suspect lists, this is what I can figure from what's in the game:
- Addison did not drown
- Roger and Rose confirmed each other's alibis and are no longer suspects
- potions bottles were found in the office (this could mean either he was poisoned or that the motive had to do with something contained in a potion bottle)
- ?
Are there any other clues that haven't been dropped yet or that I missed or misunderstood?
And what does everyone think so far? Whodunnit?

Hey all! Jaime here (aka the lovely Justin Finch-Fletchley), bringing you my second character - Kevin Entwhistle!
Kevin is my dream Muggleborn Ravenclaw. He's a genius, is working on his 2nd Masters in Physics, and is intent on finding a scientific explanation for magic (he specializes in Theoretical/Quantum Physics). He's working as a floo regulator to further examine the way the floo system works (and of course to pay a few bills - he works part time during the school year and full time in the summer) because on top of his current Masters studies, he's also working on a personal thesis on the physics behind floo travel.
Kevin isn't just about science, though. He hasn't met a fact he doesn't like, including the latest celebrity gossip and plot twists on Eastenders. He's fun and friendly (so no, he is decidedly not a Sheldon clone), has a geeky sense of humour, and loves to fly. He also has a kick-arse cane that he uses to help him walk, since he was born with severe clubfoot that couldn't be completely corrected with Muggle surgeries.
Oh, and did I mention that he uses his position to trade information for his studies? That he had no qualms about 'bending the rules' for his friends? Of course, he'd experiment on those same friends if given the opportunity, but they don't know that, so let's keep that our little secret.
Looking for:
- Ravenclaw friends! Friends from other Houses! Etc etc! (Though no past lovers - this boy is asexual/aromantic, though if you'd like to have tried to seduce him, I'm totes up for that!)
- People to have made 'floo arrangements' with Kevin in the past/present/whatever.
- Am open to all kinds of plottage, so throw it at me!

Hey all! Atticus, I hope you don't mind me posting this!
Now that we've got a week under our belts and have a grasp on how our characters play in the game, I thought this would be a good time to talk about our ideas and what we want for our characters (e.g. goals, subplots, character development, etc.). Is anyone having trouble finding a place for their peeps? Have any goals/subplots for your characters that you need some help filling?
If you're all set, awesome! If not, then feel free to use this thread to make some connections, etc.
