Oh, look. Here's my summons to report to Hitwizard Edgecombe at 10am on Monday.

Here's a letter from my Department Head telling me to speak to no-one and they've arranged a solicitor for me.

I love my Department, and that's all I'll be saying, for now.

I can't believe this insanity is still going on. It's absolutely ludicrous.

The continuous 'Oh, woe....the evil ones survived. Oh how DARE they actually question people who fought on the 'right' side of the war.'

No one is perfect, and the higher you raise up your heroes the farther they have to fall.

All right, I feel so close to a breakthrough. It's like my mind is wrapped around a problem and is just millimeters from touching the heart of it... and it's driving me mad to be so close but to not reach it yet.

I tried looking at floo powder samples before and after a trip by floo under a microscope, but so far it's inconclusive - there are differences, but nothing I can put my finger on and point to yet. I tried flooing with a seismometer on, just for kick, and the readings are off the wall, and I'm not even close to finished analyzing those. But then I also thought of doing a molecular analysis of a piece of wood I sent through, so I was told I'd get those results in two weeks.

But I've done similar things over the last few months with no tangible result. There has to be an answer that's more than just theoretical. I need proof of some kind.

On another note, my brain is about to explode from my thesis. I need to get out of my flat and do something unrelated (in theory, anyway). Any takers?

Before anyone else gets the bright idea to come into A Silver Sickle asking stupid questions - no you bloody well cannot place a bet on who murdered Addison. No, not even if you have 'inside information'. No, not even if you offer to share your winnings with me. They'd have been better off offering to share the information.

We get Ministry officials in here often enough already without inviting more by earning money from the results of their investigation.

As far as I know the ministry has not yet required that everyone talk about their status on Rita Skeeter's list which may or may not be entirely legitimate. Besides, what's the point? I hardly think anyone is going to claim that they are guilty. Seems as though it's a waste of ink.

One of the boarded up buildings in diagon looks like it's getting a new restaurant. I talked to someone who was working on the building today. He said that the owner was much younger than he expected him to be when he'd been contracted for the work and that it'd focus on asian food. Seems like it will be convenient.

Only half the suspect list are Slytherins, says the Prophet. Should we be flattered?

For the record, and as I've already explained in great detail to the Aurors: not guilty. Ms. Skeeter will be hearing from my solicitor today.
