The majority of the suspects left on the list are Hufflepuffs. Before those three were left, there were five. Also a majority were Hufflepuffs. Does that mean it's our turn to throw temper tantrums about discrimination based on House and not based on past actions and associations that would lead someone to be wary and wanting to make absolutely sure they were clean before declaring them not guilty? True, former Slytherins might have had their houses searched, but they at least were afforded the courtesy of a thorough investigation. By all rights, this is more a case of "process of elimination" than "thorough investigation." If a Hufflepuff is guilty, at least we get shit done than so be it. But at this point nothing's really been afforded so far as true investigations go for those Hufflepuffs; just a simple game of elimination.
Still, I don't think those two left accused are going to play the martyr cards, though I could be wrong. I don't know either well enough to know how that'll go.
Although maybe it's the Ravenclaw after all who will be stuck in a position of elimination. Maybe when this is all figured out someone can release how they actually got to the conclusions they did. Until then, well, I'd say the Hufflepuffs should throw their temper tantrums, but I doubt that'll happen. You know, outside of me and my calm temper tantrum right now. But I don't consider myself a Hufflepuff so that's why I'm throwing my calm fit.
