Diagonally! is an AU post-war game set in the fictional Diagon Alley University.
In the aftermath of the war and with the restructuring of the Ministry, it was quickly realized that recent Hogwarts graduates would be severely lacking in the talents that would prepare them for Ministerial careers. Rather than enroll them at Hogwarts for an eighth year, DAU was formed as a joint venture between the Ministry of Magic and St. Mungo's Hospital.
Any student from the Hogwarts class of 1998 who wishes to pursue a career with the Ministry or with St. Mungo's must now complete two years of training at DAU. Those wishing to pursue other fields of study may elect to take an independent study program of their own design.
