Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another vicious war upon the Wizarding World.
Everyone knows the story of James and Lily Potter and the story of their son, Harry, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown.
It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their seventh-year at Hogwarts, learning all about love, life, and Quidditch, and the foundation for the future is being paved.
Everyone stands at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead holds a mystery. Which paths in life will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must choose.

Following the Final Battle of the Second War, Death Eaters fled from the castle. While some were caught quickly, enough of them remained at large to finish the work of their fallen Lord. Harry Potter was found and killed along with Ginny Weasley. The summer of 1998 was a blood bath of revenge and vengeance. Despite the Order's success at the Final Battle, the Death Eaters tore through the final bits of resistance and pushed the remaining Rebels into hiding.
Their take over of the Ministry was quick. Rodolphus Lestrange was named Minister of Magic and put several reforms into action. The biggest reform was the creation of The City. After its completion, witches and wizards of inferior birth were placed within its walls.
Free from the influences of such people, Pureblood society once again began to thrive. Lavish parties and events were held by the wealthiest families. Jobs once stolen by Mudblood filth were once again available to the Pureblood students and soon their influence was spreading throughout Magical England.
Victory, of course, has not been easy to maintain. The Death Eaters have kept a tight reign on some of the more rebellious youth, placing them within the city and carefully monitoring their actions. There is no such thing as privacy for Residents of The City. Members of free society, however, have spent the last two years in a comfortable and easy lifestyle.
The year is now 2001 and the Death Eaters have been in control for two years. Have the rebels finally rebuilt themselves enough to be a serious threat to the Pureblood way of life or will the magical world continue to exist under the control of Death Eaters and Minister Lestrange?

The year is 2000. After seven tumultuous years, everything is calm. Harry Potter has defeated the Dark Lord, and things are finally as they were always meant to be.
Hypothetically. Nearly two years after the war, and witches and wizards everywhere are still having trouble putting their lives back together. Missing friends, dead family, strained relationships, and social inadequacies are causing mixed feelings everywhere. What should have been a perfect time is now, to put it best, awkward. There are so many people who don't quite know what to do with themselves now that the world isn't in grave peril.
Lucky for them, there are still a few people out there looking to change that.
Riddikulus is a game focused on character development and interaction. We offer writing prompts, a driven plot, a quill-bearing Rita, and fun players. We hope to see you soon!
