So many things I loved about this, mystery author. Florahart is a very, very lucky girl.
First of all, I loved the complexity of your Percy. You captured so many things about him, and all with an eye to his humanity. The things that make him like his family: his loyalty, his bravery in his own way, the way he stands up for the things he believes in, even though he knows that his family won't agree with them or understand them.
Then I loved the way you didn't skip over Alastor's imperfections, physical or mental or emotional. He was driven and passionate in his own way, always looking out for what he needed to do - but somehow making room for Percy inside that. His roughness and control were breathtaking.
I adored Bill's little cameo. It was perfect. And the glimpse of Percy's childhood. All gorgeous in their detail and with just the right amount of ache.
I really loved this fic. You should be so proud of yourself for writing it, and thank you for sharing it with us all.
