I almost didn't click on this, because I thought- Aberforth?! But then I got to the "complicated sex" bit, and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Are they helping each other or hurting each other? Is Snape crying, unconscious, drunk? The longer I look, the more questions I have. And I love your use of perspective, and color- all those greens, hinting at jealousy, absinthe, and Killign Curses all at once. Brilliantly executed!

*dies* This is awesome in so many ways! The color, the welter of shot glasses and corks, the brambles, the color a;sdlfkjasd;fj!!! ... the determination and angst and pain on Snape's face, the matching gritty intensity of Aberforth's stance and actions.

I love how Ab resembles Albus, but is so plainly clad and powerfully fit. The soft tender whiteness of Snape's nether parts. (His inner thighs must be softer than a woman's. *overheats*) The green together with the stonework and brambles make me imagine some bitter kind of Sleeping Beauty story, where redemption comes from pain along with kisses, waking is to reality in which regret drowns out all love. Or almost...

I've had a long outline of a post-DH Ab/Snape/? plotbunny filed for so long... and this picture galvanizes me into desperately wanting to work on it -- with this scene as motivation for major Ab/Sev action. :D

I think this art should prompt all kinds of stories. YES! YAYY! What awesome great work you have done!!!

Wow! Rarepair FTMFW!!

This is gorgeous and I know we're supposed to be looking at the smexing going on in the center of the frame--and believe me, alot of time has been spent doing just that--but my eyes keep coming back to the green of the glass, both in the window and the bottle. I also love, LOVE the faded feel and look to the bottles behind the bar.

I'm assuming their in The Hog's Head after hours...and after remembering how that bar was described in OotP, I gotta ask, is that sanitary what they're doing on that bar? LOL

Thank you so much, mystery artist! As a lover of rare pairings, I'm always happily stunned to get art, and this is simply wonderful. I absolutely adore the use of colour (making me think of the bitter decadence of both Slytherin house and absinthe) and the scattered shotglasses of firewhisky. The intensity is palpable - I'm amazed how you managed to get my requests, which were submitted with fic in mind, into a work of art.

And Aberforth's hand around Snape's wrist? *swoons and has plotbunnies*
