This whole drawing is beautifully done, but their faces! The skin texture, their expressions, the highlight on Harry's cheekbone, the shadow of his glasses. I'm kind of gobsmacked by the way you've caught their personalities, Harry open and impulsive, with his feathery, flyaway hair and flared nostril. And Snape's face is extraordinary. His eye is so beautiful, heavy lidded and weary, and his downward-slanting mouth looks so uncertain. I love the line of his nose - perfect - and his slightly pointy chin. This is a fantastic version of Snape. I also love the way Harry rests his chin on Snape's shoulder and more or less surrounds him, reaching for him and bracing himself at the same time. The hands are exquisite, as is that sharply lit hipbone of Snape's.

In sum, this is a seductive, intimate portrait, utterly gorgeous - did I mention how much I love Snape's throat? - colored and contoured to create a mood that hovers between the fragile and the erotic. I can easily imagine them kissing (their lips are so delicate) and - well, I'm stumbling all over myself to try to express how ravishing this is. Marvelous work. I hope you try your hand at this pairing again, because your vision of them is utterly compelling.
