Oh, thank you!!! Thank you for this lovely, sweet, and compelling story. I completely see both Minerva and Poppy doing something as opposed to waiting for things to change. You really drew me into the world you created here. I love Poppy's entrance. For some reason, her simple first line about the veg really struck me--so unforced and mundane among all the complex set up. It was a nice contrast. I love that they were talking about their situation, just getting ready for bed and hoping for something to change before the hot, hot sex. Again, that seemed very natural. I really liked the tenderness between them--not overly sugary and not ignoring the realities of their life, but something lovely for them both to anchor themselves with. The ending was perfectly bittersweet.
