This is fantastic! I was loving the opening paragraph which already had a wonderful period feel & then almost squealed when you mentioned Bletchley. What a great setting! Really, it is such a magical place with so many fascinating secrets & such strong, brilliant women working there. * Takes time out from comment to advise everyone in the vicinity of London, UK to visit the fascinating museum at Bletchley Park *

I love Minerva's stockings, the lipstick worn as armour & the blackout curtains, & their discussion about not being able to fight Grindelwald is great - a necessary part of the story & of their character arcs.

"Slow," said Poppy. "I want to be slow and deliberate. We might be tucked away and invisible, but I don't want to be like that with you. I want to see everything." Minerva trembled at the heat of passion in her voice, the considered weight of her certainty.
Wow, hot, evocative and wonderfully politicised. Such good writing!
