It's a new generation at Hogwarts, and violence is at an all time low. The Death Eater attacks on the wizarding world have slowed to a trickle. Stories of violence and death at the school are, for most students, nothing more than stories of a time past. The next generation has its own problems.
Over the summer, there was a break in at the school. No one knows who did it, how they got past the wards, or what they were after. Was security lax because of the lasting peace in the Wizarding world, or could there be another reason a stranger was able to sneak in undetected? The only clue was a mysterious room that seemed to appear out of thin air. An antique key was left behind and glass was found scattered on the floor, but no one took the break in as seriously as they should have.
After that night, things began to change. What exactly was in that room no one knows, but a strange new magic has seeped into the very stones of the school. Hogwarts, which always had a mind of its own, is now brimming with a primal magic that is leaving its mark upon everyone within the walls.
