Disclaimer: I don't own them...

Sirius ducked behind a suit of armour just in time as Snape's spell came flying past him.

The spell hit a painting behind Sirius, and the girls in the frame started screaming and hid behind a table. Their shrieks echoed through the corridor and he was sure Peeves would come within seconds.

He was not going to let Snape get him in trouble again, and he was about to fire a stunning spell at Snape when Remus came storming through the corridor.

"What the hell are you two doing? Do you want to wake up the entire castle?"

They heard a cackling noise and all three headed for the nearest classroom. They stood completely still until they heard the poltergeist disappear.

"That was close," Remus sighed.

Sirius made for the door, but Snape was too quick for him. The door locked itself.

"Sirius, we need to talk," said Remus.

"Great," mumbled Sirius. He was now trapped in a room with the two people he really didn't want to talk to right now.

"Who have you told?" Snape sneered.

"No one," said Sirius.

"I told you he wouldn't tell," said Remus with a tiny smile.

"He could be lying."

"I could be hexing you right now," said Sirius angrily.

"Then why aren't you?" hissed Snape.

"Stop it, you two!" Remus insisted. "Sirius, I'm sorry that you had to find out this way. I just didn't know how to tell you."

"He has no right to know," Snape interrupted. "This has nothing to do with him."

"Then let me go," said Sirius and grabbed the door handle. But it was no use, the door was absolutely stuck.

"Sirius," Remus came up to him. "Why did you follow me tonight?"

Sirius didn't answer.

"You have been avoiding me all day, but still you decided to follow me. You must have known where I was going."

"I bet he told someone to come and …"

"Please be quiet, Severus," Remus sighed.

"Yes, Severus," Sirius shot in. "Shut up!"

Snape drew his wand, but Remus grabbed it.

"Why did you follow us, Sirius? To yell at me? To tell on us? To hex Severus? Why?"

Sirius didn't answer. He didn't know how to.

"Cat got your tongue, Black?" Snape chuckled.

"Shut it, Snape," Sirius hissed.

"Then why couldn't you just leave us alone?" Remus asked.

"Because I was fucking curious, that's why." The words just fell out of Sirius' mouth. "Because apparently I liked seeing my friend getting felt up by an ugly git."

Remus gaped, and so did Snape. Sirius saw his chance and grabbed Snape's wand from Remus' hands and lifted the spell. He stormed away from the classroom and hid in a closet near the Entrance Hall.

"Fuck!" he muttered to himself. Why had he said that?

A/N: Apparently Sirius has a thing for running away this week :P
